Welcome to the Occasional Teachers’ Website!

We are a union local of the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (E.T.F.O.) which represents over 76,000 teachers in Ontario. Occasional Teachers replace classroom teachers on a daily or long term basis whenever a teacher is absent.

The Local protects the rights of our members who teach for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board, negotiates and safeguards collective agreements, and provides professional development activities. Please visit the appropriate links for more information about our Local and our activities.
